Caroline Wozniacki going back to tennis after 2020 retirement

Previous world No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki, who retired from tennis at the 2020 Australian Open, revealed Thursday that she will pick up this summer season throughout the North American tough court swing and play the U.S. Open.

In an essay released in Style publication, the 32-year old Wozniacki stated she did not get a racket for 2 years after her last match, a time in which she and hubby David Lee, the previous NBA gamer, circumnavigated the world and had 2 kids

However Wozniacki started practicing once again last winter season and chose, with support from Lee, to begin down the roadway towards a return. She composed that she thinks she can win the U.S. Open this year.
