TransPerfect Lawyer Uses Payment to End Years-Long Chancery Cost Disagreement

Lawyer Alan Dershowitz stated throughout a Thursday early morning hearing before Chancellor Kathaleen St. J. McCormick that TransPerfect Global Inc. is prepared to pay the lawyer charges it’s been purchased to and put an end to lawsuits in the Court of Chancery.

Dershowitz, holding what he stated was a file folder including checks, stated as a gesture of great faith and an effort to deal with the longest-running Chancery case after almost ten years, TransPerfect wanted to turn over the totality of the cash that’s challenged, with the condition that an approximated $441 million allocated for the federal court be kept in escrow.
