Spambots - September 18, 2006

I was going to write something longer and more thoughtful here. I actually started. But I'm way too tired. So instead there's this.
I just discovered something. All the comment spam this site gets and is bounced because the spambots can't read the code number is actually saved in a folder called Junk Comments. There are almost 9,000 comments sitting in there since I installed the software a few months ago.
I really, REALLY hope they don't figure out how to program spambots that can read and enter that info.

Unfunnily enough I just experienced the result of spambots getting through such a system. I hope it's not a sign of things to come.
These low life people waste so much time trying to get round these safe guards surely it would have been easier just to have got a real job.

Very cool contrast between all the lit area and the blue in the sky. One thing though, what is that plastic doing up there in the rafters?
