So I don’t post as much these days. I still post regularly. A couple of times a week. But certainly not every day.

I go back and forth about how I feel about that. On the one hand, I think to myself: I should be doing more of it. But then on the other hand, I know there are a lot of other priorities in my life. And perhaps more to come.

But tonight after a dinner with a friend whom I haven’t seen in a while. I revisited my thoughts about the blog and what it is that keeps me from posting. Right now some of it is inspiration. I’m just not amazingly inspired these days. I know there’s the “work” of it—the discipline. And I have been considering pushing myself in that direction. But truly: I don’t need something else in my life right now which requires discipline. Work is plenty in that department. But I know it won’t always be that way. Or at least that way in the same way. Until either then, or until a burst of inspiration (both maybe?), it’ll be lower output than before.

Don't fret about output. Some of my favorite photobloggers are now posting less than once per week. They remain on my RSS feed and I'm glad when they post. Just know that your site is here and available when the inspiration strikes. The RSS feeds will light up when you do. :-)

Dennis puts it well.

Great clarity in this one, lovely tonal range.
