Tonight on On Point, Tom Ashbrook interviewed the legendary management guru Peter Drucker. In the midst of Tom's pathetic fawning, Peter Drucker repeated something that must be familiar to those that are already familiar with his work.

Management schools, he said, do not train leaders. They create competent mediocrities.

Having been in corporate America now for 10 years, that seems pretty apparent to me.
