My last two entries and this were from my Tuesday photo walk in downtown Boston and South Boston. Since it was the first time I was out taking pictures for several weeks, I've been psyched simply to have some reasonably recent photos to post.

I know there are photobloggers who seem to, more or less, get out and take pictures every day and in most cases, post photos from the day. I think if it was reasonable, I'd try to do that. But really, I'd probably have the most boring photoblog ever. But more importantly, I probably wouldn't like it as much. The way I'm doing it now works pretty well for me. I like taking a two or three hour expedition once or twice a week and really just immersing myself in my environment for those hours.

Actually, as I think about it, that's a general trait of my personality. I've always preferred to, at any one point, pick one thing and utterly devote myself to it. Last summer it was three months -- all out -- working 80 hour weeks trying to start a company. Now it's taking just a few hours at a time to do nothing but take pictures.

Yes. I like it this way.
