Pastime - July 04, 2005

Not much writing today. I have the Tour de France on television. I just can't not watch that. Poor Jess loses me for two hours a day through most of July.
Additionally, Bank of America which just finished swallowing Fleet also seem to have completely digested Fleet's entire apparatus for downloading transactions. Thus I had to manually enter a month's worth of transactions. Awful. And it took me over an hour instead of the usual five minutes.
Who's my daddy? Technology.

There was a pile of VERY rusty gratings at a construction site in Quincy, MA. The rust was an impossible shade of orange and of the many I took, this was my favorite shot.
And there's a photoshop cheat in there: the curves have been slightly altered which is what gives the deeper darks and also the very slight cyan color to the pavement. The cyan was an accident which I ended up liking a lot.
